About Bella Moon Bella Moon's founder and designer is Marti Cuatt. She began making jewellery in 2006 and progressed from creating beaded designs, through to learning wire work and basic silversmithing skills. In 2009 Marti opened the flagship Bella Moon retail store in the bustling Melbourne inner city suburb of Brunswick. Bella Moon was extremely well received by the local community, both in the store's concept and Bella Moon jewellery designs. Locals enthused over the quality of Marti's jewellery and her pieces were soon travelling all over the world as gifts and with visitors to Melbourne returning home or from locals purchasing gifts to send to friends and relatives. Word spread about this great jewellery store in Sydney Road, which attracted customers from right across town and other parts of the state. People were going out of their way to pay the store a visit and purchase a piece of Bella Moon jewellery.  Sadly for Brunswick Bella Moon's doors closed during 2010 as Marti and her husband prepared for a lifestyle change away from the city, moving to country Tasmania in September the same year. Moving from Melbourne to gorgeous country Tasmania late 2010, Marti has been preparing Bella Moon for new collections and an online store, which is now up and running. Now, after an extended break and a fresh burst of creative energy, Bella Moon's virtual shop door is opening and her jewellery is available online and, for Tasmanians (and visitors to Tasmania), directly by appointment.
